Artist launch events featuring Andy Warhol, Murakami, Keith Haring, Robert Deyber, and Philippe Bertho collections, among many other artists

The Challenge
Martin Lawrence Galleries sought to launch high-profile exhibitions featuring works by Takashi Murakami and the estate of Keith Haring. The challenge was generating media attention and collector interest that matched the caliber of the artists while differentiating from the galleries' established program.
Our Approach
We developed distinct narratives for each artist exhibition — Murakami's as a bridge between fine art and pop culture, Haring's as a timely celebration of his enduring social impact. We curated invite lists that brought together art collectors, fashion creatives, and cultural influencers, creating events that felt like cultural moments rather than sales occasions.
The Story We Told
For Murakami, the story was about the democratization of fine art through an artist who refuses to separate high from low culture. For Haring, it was about why his message resonates more urgently today than when it was first created. Both narratives transcended the art world and reached mainstream cultural media.
